MySpace News: YANP – Yet Another News Portal
News Corp. apparently thinks we need another news portal. MySpace is launching their own news portal today presumably targeting the folks who live on MySpace. It’s tough for me to understand since I’m not a MySpace user, but I’ve gotten the feeling that many heavy users of the social site could do without email and instead use the communication tools within MySpace. Either way, I think it’s ridiculous to have yet another news portal. If more people would understand the usefulness of RSS, it would be clear that all these news portals aren’t necessary.
